Founder & Algorithm Developer
Samuel is a systematic trader and algorithm developer focused on causal backtesting and edge discovery. His approach combines rigorous research methodology with practical execution — favoring peer-reviewed principles over market narratives. He believes the best trading tools are those you can understand, audit, and validate yourself. Rather than selling black-box products, he builds in public via open-source GitHub, inviting scrutiny and contribution from the trading research community.
Every algorithm is built on peer-reviewed methodology grounded in market microstructure and statistical significance. No curve-fitting. No over-optimization.

We validate edge using causal inference methods that eliminate look-ahead bias and survivorship bias. Backtest results are calibrated with realistic slippage and commissions.
